Alternative hit There For Tomorrow released their second full length entitled A Little Faster on June 9th. With them being such a young band, it’s good to see that they’re blending the catchy vocals of today with lyrics that are actually…meaningful.

There are a lot of positive things you can say about this disc. Each song clearly has its own identity and somehow finds a way to stand out on the disc. “Deathbed” is a catchy track that goes from straight up rock, to an ambient, softer, alternative style; only to blow up with in your face intensity towards the end. “Just In Time” is an acoustic guitar driven song which is the most relaxing part of the album.

There are a few negatives to the album. The vocals, as good as they are, are typical of most bands in the genre and they aren’t offering much there that is new. Songs like “Stories” will make you wonder if you’re listening to There For Tomorrow or a band you can find on your TV. Overall, this is a good CD and a good effort.
