Bronze Radio Return released there new disc titled Old Time Speaker on June 23rd. This isn’t the bands first effort, nor do I hope it will be there last. They are a band that stands out amongst the crowd and they should feel very proud of that.

The CD opens with “Lo-Fi”, which is probably the fastest moving song on the album. You don’t need to be a loud band to display both your energy and your talent, as this song proves. A light and fresh keyboard propels the son “Pullin’ On The Reins forward. The Deep bass line on songs like “Digital Love” is sure to draw you in; along with the awesome harmonica playing.

Overall this CD does have its ups and downs, all CD’s do. Sometimes the CD will feel slow, or drawn out. I must admit, though, that this is a CD and a group that grows on you the more I listened to them. This isn’t a band for all but if you can appreciate what something new has to offer then they’re definitely worth checking out. Also, they have a harmonica player…How cool is that!?
